TNHS BATCH 1988 20 YEARS AFTER

By:May Sannadan (March 19, 2009)
Our batch at the TNHS was always very popular in the 80's, in our own province, in our own little town, in our very own school and in our opinion of course.

We strived to be recognized, we thrive in the limelights, we were never quiet, we were rebellious, we believe in freedom of expression. We believe in vocalizing what is on our minds, we suggested changes, we adapted to changes! We survived the pressures. Ours was also the favorite batch or the teachers' pets.

We are now reminiscing the past 4 years of our stint in the holy grounds of our dear alma mater!
What happened to us all now?

We are all dying to know, certainly not to boast of each others' success, or to show off the places we had been, but to have an insight on how life had affected each and every one of us.

How did our blog started in the very first place? It was the realization that life is really very short!

Before, we hear news on who took what course in college, who graduated, who got married. We received invitations from christenings, graduation of our own children, and then, news that somebody's wife died, someone died. It is life's bitter reality, the ultimate destination, the end of the journey, the termination of our very own existence, the final curtain. But it does not matter, we all die anyway, what matters is how we lived, how we loved, how we cared, how we enjoyed the ride.

We were pretty close in high school, we bonded, we cared for each other although we were in constant struggle to outbest each other, have petty skirmishes, had quarrels too. We loved each other as brothers and sisters. The competition was tough, but our hearts were soft.

In December 2008, attempts of reunion was made, although the two events as seen on the pictures and videos were only a gathering of small groups of people, still we see the interest in each and everyone of us!

SO BATCHMATES, KEEP IN TOUCH AND LET US CONTINUE PLANNING FOR THE 25th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF TNHS BATCH 1988!
